Settings are device-wide preferences. Change them during a run, revisit them whenever you like, and keep every hero’s combat strength unchanged.
Settings labels and player-facing options come from the same shared catalogs used by the game.
Music starts off by default. Enable it separately and choose a saved level from 0–100%.
Gameplay effects, movement feedback, and terrain-aware footsteps have their own toggle and 0–100% level.
Music and effects never mute one another. Adjust either channel without changing the other.
1× canvas resolution, 24 Skill Heart stamps at 10 updates per second, lighter ordinary-monster detail, and color-and-audio-only low-health warnings.
Up to 1.25× canvas resolution, dropping to 1× after sustained missed frames; 40 Skill Heart stamps at 15 updates per second, balanced dense-monster detail, and static low-health warnings. Recommended and used by default.
Up to 2× canvas resolution, 60 Skill Heart stamps at 20 updates per second with a single glow pass, full monster detail, and optimized pulsing low-health warnings.
Gameplay stays identical. Low and Medium simplify ordinary-monster decoration and overhead HUD when a scene is crowded, while low-health presentation scales from essential color and audio cues to an optimized pulse. Every monster, boss, elite, summon, telegraph, projectile, hit flash, and essential status cue remains visible. Quality never changes damage, timing, targeting, collision, hit areas, or monster counts.
